Fighting Wrinkles
"What you need to know first is which foods to stay away from. Refined sugars break down collagen. We need collagen to keep skin firm and wrinkle-free," Dr. Brantley explains. "You can support collagen production with foods that are rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, omegas and good fats like saturated and polyunsaturated fats." These wrinkle-fighting foods include:
|
 |
strawberries
raspberries
blueberries
avacados
olives
oils such as: hemp seed, sesame, coconut and olive |

Relieving Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles
When it comes to puffy eyes and dark circles, Dr. Brantley advises staying away from foods like refined salt and over-cooked or processed meat. "These contain a lot of acids, which hurt your kidneys by taking water away from them." What should you look for? Try foods and natural juices that support your kidneys and have a high water content like: |
 |
bananas
cucumbers
celery
asparagus
citrus fruits |

Slowing Hair Loss
According to Dr. Brantley, if you have thinning hair, your body maybe missing certain nutrients like biotin, calcium, iron and silica. So what can you do? Eat foods that contain vitamin B, protein and zinc like: |
 |
almonds
